PRINTING AND FULFILLMENT PROCESSING
Timely and accurate management of your print and fulfillment duties is paramount to member satisfaction and revenue management. These services deliver Welcome Kits and ID cards and distribute remits, EOBs, EOCs, ANOCs and statements. As a subset of the entire enrollment and disenrollment process, fulfillment activities create the new member’s first impression of the professionalism and capability of the Health Plan. Additionally, timely fulfillment ensures that the Health Plan remains compliant with CMS timelines for processing. TMG Health understands the compliance criticality, the impact on the member’s perception of the Health Plan’s capability and the overall importance to revenue management. We offer multiple print/fulfillment services options, including an inhouse based printer, a national network of printers or the ability to interface to the Health Plan’s internal or outsourced print vendor. As part of our government health program specialization, we have developed a proprietary application called (Fulfillment Data Interface) FDI® to oversee, track, manage and help to automate much of the printing and
fulfillment process.
Our print and fulfillment services deliver redundant, top tier capabilities, broad, scalable capacity and state-of-the-art technology. We have a local printing partner who is co-located in our National Operations Center in Dunmore, PA to service TMG Health clients. We also offer the use of a national printing partner who serves numerous marquis health plans. Both print vendors deliver quality and time-oriented services, are specialized in the Health Insurance print and mail fulfillment utilizing HIPAA and CMS compliant operations and are SAS Level II rated.
Both vendors offer high volume mailing performed within CMS processing timeframes. Services include:
- Enrollment Correspondence
- ANOC, EOC and the production of other large format materials
Because of the demands of HIPAA, CMS and OIG security, our vendors have established comprehensive compliance screening, training and testing.
As previously noted, to automate the print fulfillment process, TMG Health developed the Fulfillment Data Interface (FDI). The self developed FDI system assures quality and on-time delivery of all print data within specified timelines. Key features include:
- Direct electronic delivery of print data from production units to print operations
- Enables quality control and file manipulation/editing as needed
- Provides multiple levels of validation of fulfillment work
- Complete tracking of document date compliance with time-stamps
- All documents are stored to image archive
- Generation of “original” reprints/images for audit and other activity
- Produces Tracking Reports direct from source (FDI) Electronically Integrated with
TMG Health data flows
As mentioned above, TMG Health can also interface to your Health Plan’s existing internal or 3rd Party Print and Fulfillment vendor. In that case, we will still utilize all of the capabilities of our FDI application to ensure we correctly track and report on production completion, accuracy and timeliness.
Adhering to the tight timelines dictated by CMS for government health programs is challenging, especially for Health Plans offering both commercial and government based insurance products. TMG Health can ensure that the print and fulfillment needs of your government products are produced consistently, compliantly and on time. The result is a better member experience and improved revenue management.
